Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 1/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Stock is cracked on both sides of the grip near the trigger guard. Cracks measure about 4" in length and no repair has been performed.
On the right side of the stock, there are a pair of heavy gouges at the butt near the comb. Heavy gouge at the woodline below the receiver. Light gouging around the edges of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges toward the bottom of the butt. Light scratches at the center of the butt. Heavy pressure marks at the woodline above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a thin, mild gouge in front of the magazine plate. Large, shallow gouges and heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. Handguard has light gouging between the ferrule and rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark around the center of the handguard.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Mild surface marks on the rear edge of the receiver. Mild edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light finish wear and light surface marks on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped.
Bottom bolt knob is chipped.
