Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knobs matching serial numbers.
Light to mild pressure marks throughout the furniture. Finish throughout the stock is lightly worn. On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark to the right of the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock, there is a long, shallow gouge running vertically on the butt. Mild handling wear along the side of the stock from the grip to the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a small gouge near the front end of the magazine plate. The handguard has several light gouges between the ferrule and the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot, lightening cuts, and on the front and rear edges. Scattered surface marks in the metal and scratches in the finish, but otherwise is a good, solid blue. Rear barrel band has light finish wear, light patina, and some surface marks. Front barrel band has light finish wear and light patina. Light finish wear on the magazine plate. Light finish wear and light patina on the trigger guard. Mild finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P 55 stamped, indicating privatization in 1955.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
