Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (yellow coloration down the bore). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges below the bottom edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are small, light gouges on the grip and a small, mild gouge between the receiver and magazine. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark behind the pistol grip. Light gouging on the comb.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear, light patina, and light pitting throughout. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Front barrel band has light finish wear and light patina. Mild finish wear on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped. WF28 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1928.
Includes leather sling.
