Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Small chip on the underside of the lower bolt knob.
Tiger stripe pattern in the stock.
On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark and a heavy gouge at the butt below the comb. Mild to heavy pressure marks and light gouging before the finger groove. Light gouge at the woodline above the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges and a pair of long pressure marks between the finger groove and the rear barrel band. The letter "B" is found carved into the butt near the heel.
All bluing was previously refurbished.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light patina throughout. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Light finish wear and light patina on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped twice. P57 stamped, indicating privatization in 1957. WF26 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1926.
Includes leather sling.
