Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild to heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Two severe gouges at the butt. Mild gouge near the forward end of the comb. Light gouging on the pistol grip. Heavy pressure marks around the finger groove. Light gouges before the rear barrel band. Mild handling wear throughout the left side of the stock. Heavy pressure marks on the grip. Heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band. Multiple light gouges on the forearm between the two barrel bands. On the underside there is a large, light gouge by the rear sling mount. Heavy pressure mark between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Handguard has a large scrape in front of the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark behind the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Light patina over the chamber. Rear barrel band has moderate finish wear. Mild pitting on the top of the rear barrel band. Front barrel band has light finish wear and light patina. Mild finish wear throughout the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine.
Receiver is P 56 stamped, indicating privatization in 1956.
