Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knob matching serial number.
The right side of the stock has heavy pressure marks around the edge of the finger groove and a light gouge before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there is a small group of light gouging toward the rear of the receiver. Light gouges around the edge of the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. Pair of thin scratches between the two barrel bands. On the underside of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks around the front barrel band. Light gouge around the center of the comb. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light finish wear and light edge wear. Light pitting in front of the upper lightening cuts. Multiple light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light to mild finish wear. Mild edge wear on the trigger guard and light tool marks on the magazine plate around the receiver screws.
Receiver is P stamped. WF26 and 29 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in both 1926 and 1929.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
