Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting in the grooves). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Bolt knob matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge near the Swiss ordnance stamp. Heavy pressure mark near the rear of the butt. Light gouges toward the rear of the stock at the comb. Heavy pressure marks between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Mild handling wear throughout the left side of the stock. Heavy pressure marks at the butt. Heavy pressure marks and light gouges between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band. Long, mild pressure marks on the forearm between the two barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. The comb of the stock has multiple light gouges. Handguard has heavy gouges on the right side and a heavy gouge between the two barrel bands.
Receiver finish is heavily worn and has heavy patina. Multiple surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light patina. Heavy finish wear and moderate pitting throughout the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine.
Receiver is P 55 stamped, indicating privatization in 1955.
Bottom bolt knob is cracked.
