Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 5/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Furniture does not appear to have been sanded but it has been refinished with a gloss coat. The stock seems to have been double stamped with the Swiss military acceptance stamp.
On the right side of the stock there are a few light pressure marks around the butt and a group of light pressure marks near the toe. On the left side of the stock there are multiple light pressure marks below the rear of the receiver. Mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band. The handguard has some scattered light pressure marks and no major blemishes of note.
Receiver finish is very lightly worn. Light edge wear around the loading slot and the lightening cuts. Rear barrel band has a few light scratches on the top side and a couple spots from light pitting. Front barrel band has light edge wear. Light edge wear on the trigger guard and the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped. 31 stamp below the serial number indicates armory refurbishment in 1931.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
