Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. Stock non-matching serial number (375613, 1915 production). Handguard matching serial number. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy gouge at the butt near the rear of the comb and light gouges around the center of the butt. On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy gouge on the comb. The initials "SL" are carved into the forward area of the butt. Light gouging around the grip. Heavy gouge in front of the finger groove. Light gouges on the forearm between the two barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges around the magazine plate. Light gouging along the comb. The grip has a large crack on either side which has not been repaired. Handguard has a heavy gouge about halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Light finish wear and light patina on both barrel bands. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine. Trigger guard has light pitting.
Receiver is P stamped.
