Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1913, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
One of 15,000 total produced (one of 9,000 in 1913) with a faster 230mm twist barrel (1:9.05") before switching back to 270mm (1:10.63") later in 1913. These rifles were issued to recruits.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
Furniture was refinished with a semi-gloss finish.
On the right side of the stock, there is a scratch at the toe. On the underside of the stock there are several light gouges around the magazine plate. Handguard has mild pressure marks near the ferrule.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light surface marks along the top of the receiver. Light finish wear and light patina on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped. ·21 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1921.
Includes leather sling.
