Swiss W+F Bern model 1897 Cadet Rifle, produced in 1901, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there are light scratches near the rear of the butt. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark at the rear of the butt and scattered light gouges throughout the butt. Pair of small, deep gouges forward of the wrist. Light gouging around the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge to the right of the trigger guard. Light gouging at the rear of the comb.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and mild patina.
P stamped receiver.
