W+F Bern Swiss 1897 Cadet - sn 33xx
Swiss W+F Bern model 1897 Cadet Rifle, produced in 1899, in very good condition with 70% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there is a small group of light gouging near the Swiss ordnance stamp on the butt. Light gouge over the rear of the grip. On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark near the forward end of the butt. Heavy gouge on the grip. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge between the forward receiver screw and the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure marks along the left edge of the comb and a light gouge on the right edge of the comb at the rear.
Receiver finish is heavily worn. Mild patina over the chamber. Heavy finish wear on both barrel bands and the barrel. Heavy finish wear and heavy patina on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped.
