Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling, light pitting). 4/5 Stock. Bolt non-matching serial number.
Rear sight has micrometric device for fine adjustment.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
Stock has tiger striping on the butt.
On the left side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouging and mild pressure marks before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a scratch on the butt in front of the sling mount. Mild pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouging near the heel. Light gouging on the top of the wrist. Handguard has a light gouge on the right side near the ferrule, light gouging in front of the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy patina. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish and patina. Trigger guard has heavy patina and light surface marks. Magazine base is approaching white.
No P stamp.
