Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1905, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes bayonet.
Stock was previously sanded.
On the right side of the stock, there are remnants of a heavy gouge at the rear of the butt. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges around the center of the butt. Light gouging inside the finger groove and a mild pressure mark above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge next to the magazine catch. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark behind the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light to mild patina throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light to mild patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have light finish wear and light patina.
Receiver is P stamped.
Includes matching serial number model 1889/18 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard. Blade is in excellent condition. Light gouging on the right side wood grip. Scabbard has light finish wear and mild patina. Pair of large dents on the right side.
