Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1912, in very good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore (mildly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy gouges and a heavy pressure mark at the center of the butt. Mild pressure marks on the wrist. Heavy gouging below the bolt release lever. Light gouging on the woodline above the finger groove. Heavy gouges in front of the rear barrel band were repaired with wood filler. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges around the center of the butt. Light gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Mild gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there are mild gouges on the butt near the sling mount. Light gouging around the magazine plate. Heavy gouging before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Light patina over the chamber. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has light pitting. Magazine has heavily worn finish and pitting.
Receiver is P61 stamped, indicating privatization in 1961.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
