Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1905, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt below the comb. Heavy pressure mark below the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging along the pistol grip and wrist. Mild gouge near the magazine. Mild pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. Heavy gouge by the magazine catch. Light gouging on the forearm between the barrel bands. Light gouge on the top of the wrist. Handguard has light gouging throughout the rear. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Light surface marks at the rear of the receiver and light pitting over the chamber. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and tool marks. Magazine plate has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has light to mild finish wear. Magazine has mild to heavy finish wear.
Receiver is P63 stamped, indicating privatization in 1963.
Includes leather sling.
