Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1904, in good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 2/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Small chip on the lower bolt knob.
Stock is chipped at the woodline on the left side, forward of the grip. Handguard has an unrepaired crack on the top side about 3/4 the length between the barrel bands.
On the right side of the stock, there is a mild pressure mark on the grip and several mild pressure marks below and to the right of the bolt release lever. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks around the center of the butt. Scuffs, pressure marks, and mild gouging behind and in front of the rear barrel band, running between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge at the magazine catch. On the right side of the handguard, there are ight gouges behind the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light patina. Light finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P41 stamped, indicating privatization in 1941.
