Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has an unrepaired 2" crack on the right side at the wrist, and another crack on the left side at the wrist, above the pistol grip insert.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy gouges at the rear of the butt and scattered light gouges throughout. Heavy pressure mark on the wrist. Heavy gouge over the magazine. Heavy pressure marks behind the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge and mild pressure mark at the rear of the butt. Light gouging on the pistol grip. Light gouging around the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are light to mild gouges on the butt at the toe. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging toward the forward end of the comb. Handguard has light gouging behind the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mild patina throughout. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine have heavy patina.
Receiver is P stamped.
