Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1903, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Non-matching serial numbers: magazine (s/n 80078), bolt knob.
Furniture has been previously sanded.
Stock has a tiger stripe pattern.
On the right side of the stock, there is mild gouging on the grip. On the left side of the stock, there is a spot of white paint and multiple light gouges before the finger groove.
Light pitting throughout the receiver. Light finish wear over the top side of the receiver. Light patina over the chamber. Light surface marks on the trigger guard. Heavy finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P63 stamped, indicating privatization in 1963.
Includes leather sling.
