Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1902, in good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, heavy pitting around the muzzle and crown. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
Tiger stripe pattern throughout the handguard.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge on the butt near the rear of the comb. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the pistol grip. Mild gouges between the magazine and receiver. Light gouges behind the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a small, mild gouge near the trigger guard. Heavy gouge in front of the magazine catch. Handguard has light to mild gouging around the rear barrel band.
Receiver has areas of mild to heavy finish wear. Light patina and light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mild finish wear and light patina. Mild to heavy finish wear and light pitting on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P54 stamped, indicating privatization in 1954.
Includes leather sling.
