Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1901, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the rear barrel band.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the pistol grip. Light gouging around the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. Light gouge before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge and heavy pressure marks around the center of the butt. Mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges in front of the magazine plate and light gouges in front of the rear barrel band. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and a mild surface mark. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
