Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1901, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped.
Tiger striping throughout the stock and handguard.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished with a matte finish.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a mild gouge on the toe. Stock was chipped at the heel and was sanded down. Light gouging between the wrist and finger groove. Light gouging in front of the finger groove. Mild gouge halfway between the barrel bands and light gouging before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges in front of the rear barrel band. Handguard has a mild gouge before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mild to heavy finish wear, light scratches, and light surface marks. Barrel shank has heavily worn finish. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear. Trigger guard has mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
P stamped receiver.
