Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge by the bolt release lever and a large, mild gouge before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a small, deep gouge on the butt. Very light gouges forward of the grip, above the trigger guard. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge in front of the magazine catch. Light gouge on the top of the grip at the receiver tang. Handguard has a light gouge on the left side before the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish has light to mild finish wear. Light finish wear and light tool marks on the rear barrel band. Barrel has light finish wear and light patina. Light finish wear and light surface marks on the trigger guard. Light finish wear and light pitting on the magazine base.
Receiver is P 35 stamped, indicating privatization in 1935.
