Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in very good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
Stock has tiger striping on the right side of the butt and on the underside.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt, pistol grip, and wrist. Light scratches between the wrist and the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging along the butt. Light to mild gouging on the comb.
Receiver has heavily worn finish, heavy patina, and light surface marks. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish, heavy patina, and light pitting. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear and patina. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish. Magazine base has been polished and is in the white.
P35 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1935.
