Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light to mild pitting). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the bolt knob.
Upper bolt knob is cracked.
On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks at the rear of the butt and heavy gouging around the center of the butt. Light gouge on the wrist. On the underside of the stock there are a couple of light gouges in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mildly worn finish. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish and light to mild pitting. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
P52 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1952.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
