Swiss W+F Bern 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in Good condition with 70% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
Stock has a long unrepaired crack on the left and right sides between the barrel bands. Handguard has an unrepaired crack on the underside.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt and on the wrist. Light gouging around the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the butt before the pistol grip. On the top of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouges on the comb.
Receiver has heavily worn finish. Both barrel bands are approaching white. Magazine plate and trigger guard are approaching white. Magazine base is in the white.
P37 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1937.
·6 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1906.
Includes leather sling.
