Swiss 1896/11 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1900, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting in the grooves). 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Tiger stripe pattern throughout the handguard.
On the right side of the stock, there are moderate to heavy pressure marks around the butt. Several gouges on the pistol grip. Mild gouge below the bolt release lever. Mild to fair finish wear and multiple light pressure marks in and below the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are multiple heavy pressure marks and some moderate to heavy gouges around the butt. Moderate gouging on the grip. Multiple light pressure marks from the grip to the finger groove. Light to mild pressure marks around the finger groove. Light to mild gouging around the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there is a large, heavy gouge on the pistol grip. Gouge in front of the magazine catch. Moderate pressure marks and a few moderate gouges along the comb.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light edge wear around the loading slot and lightening cuts. Light pitting on the top side in between the upper lightening cuts. Mild finish wear on both barrel bands. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard. Fair finish wear on the magazine base.
