Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks and a light gouge on the wrist. Mild gouge before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the rear of the butt. Light gouging around the finger groove. Light gouging behind the rear barrel band. Light to mild gouge behind the front barrel band. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark behind the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina.
No P stamp noted.
