Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Lower bolt knob is also chipped.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging and rash between the wrist and finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. Light gouges in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has thin, mild pressure marks before the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light pitting throughout. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina.
