Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting at the center of the bore). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt near the comb. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark and mild gouge in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge on the toe and a light gouge on the wrist. Heavy gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Front barrel band screw is a replacement.
Receiver has mildly worn finish and heavy patina. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Magazine plate and trigger guard has mildly worn finish and light patina. Heavy surface mark on the trigger guard.
No P stamp.
Includes leather sling.
