Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Tiger stripe pattern throughout the stock.
On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark below the bolt release lever and a group of light gouges between the bolt release lever and the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the upper edge of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the butt and grip between the rear sling mount and magazine plate. On the left side of the handguard, there are several mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. Mild pressure mark on the top side of the handguard near the Swiss ordnance stamp.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Rear barrel band finish is lightly worn. Front barrel band finish is mildly worn. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P34 stamped, indicating privatization in 1934.
