Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1896, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges at the rear of the butt and light gouging on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure mark and mild gouge on the wrist. Scratch in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a mild gouge at the wrist. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and mild edge wear. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has mild patina. Magazine has heavily worn finish and heavy pitting.
