Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Lower bolt knob is chipped.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks and mild gouges near the toe. Light gouging along the side of the stock between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouge inside the finger groove. Light gouging around the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light patina throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish and light to mild patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have light patina. Trigger guard has light pitting.
Receiver is P23 stamped, indicating privatization in 1923.
Includes muzzle cover.
