Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Handguard has tiger striping throughout.
On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark on the butt. Heavy pressure mark in front of the bolt release lever. Mild pressure marks inside the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks forward of the wrist. Heavy gouging on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light patina. Light to mild edge wear throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish.
No P stamp noted.
·6 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1906.
Includes leather sling.
