Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the butt along the comb. Heavy gouging above the magazine disconnect lever. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging forward of the wrist. Handguard has light gouging before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish. Heavy pitting on the right side of the rear barrel band. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear and spots of mild pitting. Magazine plate has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish. Magazine has mild to heavy finish wear.
No P stamp noted.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1889 bayonet, produced by Maschinenfabrik Bern, with scabbard. Bayonet was reissued as part of the previous serial number on the guard can be faintly seen behind the serial number.
Blade has a small spot of heavy pitting on the left side at the tip. Pommel has mild pitting.
Scabbard has mildly worn finish, light patina, and light pitting.
