Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has tiger striping.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. Mild pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the butt. Light gouging forward of the wrist. Light gouge above the magazine. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the wrist. Light gouge before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light surface marks and light pitting.
P27 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1927.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
