Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in Good condition with 70% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, very light pitting). 4/5 Stock. Bolt non-matching serial number (s/n 56342). Magazine non-matching serial number (s/n 121064). Bolt knobs non-matching serial number.
Upper bolt knob is chipped.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt below the comb and a light gouge on the wrist. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge at the toe. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and heavy surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine have heavily worn finish.
