Product Description

Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in Fair condition with 60% finish. 1/5 Bore (heavy pitting in half of the barrel). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.

Both bolt knobs are cracked.

Firing pin is slightly bent.

Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.

On the left side of the stock there is a heavy gouge and heavy pressure mark at the rear of the butt. On the underside of the stock the initials "YV" were carved into the tie. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.

All bluing is heavily worn with some areas approaching white or in the white.

No P stamp noted.

Includes leather sling.
