Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1894, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark around the center of the butt. Light gouge before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a mild pressure mark on the wrist. Light gouge before the rear barrel band. Mild pressure marks at the forward end of the comb. Handguard has a light gouge before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Light patina over the chamber. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has mild edge wear and lightly worn finish. Magazine has mild to heavy finish wear.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
P30 stamped, receiver, indicating privatization in 1930.
