Swiss W+F Bern 1189 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
Stock has tiger striping throughout.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the rear of the butt. Mild gouging around the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges toward the bottom of the butt. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Light gouging before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the wrist. Handguard has a light gouge before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have heavily worn finish. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
No P stamp noted.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
