Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band and light gouging before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Light gouging between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Scratches between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging and heavy pressure marks on the comb. Handguard has a light gouge near the ferrule and a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Light surface marks at the rear of the receiver. Small area of light pitting between the lightening cuts. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish and light patina.
No P stamp.
