Antique Swiss W+F Bern 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in Very Good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the magazine (s/n 144378).
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges and mild pressure marks at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark on the butt near the rear of the comb. Heavy pressure mark on the wrist. Light gouging halfway between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt in front of the rear sling mount. Small, heavy gouge on the wrist at the magazine plate. Heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band. On the top of the stock there is light gouging on the comb.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate has light to mild finish wear and mild patina. Trigger guard has mild edge wear and mild patina. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
