Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is chipped. Lower bolt knob is cracked.
On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges near the bottom of the butt. Light gouge on the forearm between the barrel bands at the woodline between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks around the magazine plate and small marks before the rear barrel band. Light gouging on the comb of the stock.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has mild edge wear throughout. Light pitting throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light finish wear and light pitting on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P24 stamped, indicating privatization in 1924.
