Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1892, in good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the rear of the butt. Heavy gouge at the rear edge of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy gouge in front of the rear sling mount and a heavy gouge on the grip next to the magazine plate.
Receiver finish is heavily worn. Rear sight has heavy pitting on the right side. Both barrel bands have heavy finish wear and mild patina. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine has heavy finish wear.
Receiver is P19 stamped, indicating privatization in 1919.
Includes muzzle cover.
