Product Description
Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1896, in good condition with 75% finish. 3/5 Bore (mild pitting around the crown). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked and chipped and its screw had been replaced.
On the right side of the stock, there is a small group of light gouges near the comb. Light gouging on the bottom edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges throughout the butt and a pair of heavy pressure marks at the top of the grip. Light gouge in front of the finger groove, between the stock and handguard. Large, light gouge behind the front barrel band. Small, mild pressure mark near the forward end of the comb. Handguard has light gouges in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has mild edge wear and light to mild pitting throughout. Both barrel bands have heavy finish wear and light to mild patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have heavy finish wear and light to mild pitting.
