Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1894, in good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has an unrepaired crack from the receiver tang to the left side of the grip.
Stock has prominent tiger striping throughout.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge at the butt, rear of the grip. On the left side of the stock, there is a mild gouge at the center of the butt. On the underside of the stock, there is a light gouge on the toe.
All bluing was previously refurbished. Receiver has light surface marks throughout. Light discoloration at the rear of the receiver. Rear barrel band had some sort of substance that had discolored the bluing. Front barrel band has light pitting. Light surface marks on the trigger guard. Light discoloration on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P32 stamped, indicating privatization in 1932. ·7 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1907.
