Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in good condition with 75% finish. 3/5 Bore (worn rifling, mild pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are a pair of heavy pressure marks on the butt, rear of the grip. Light gouge between the finger groove and rear barrel band. Handguard has a long, mild pressure mark behind the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Mild patina and light pitting throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have heavy finish wear, mild patina, and light pitting. Mild pitting on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P22 stamped, indicating privatization in 1922.
