Swiss 1889 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the left side of the stock, there are small gouges on the butt near the bottom edge. Heavy pressure mark on the woodline to the right of the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark at the woodline of the stock and handguard about halfway between the barrel bands. Beyond this, there are no other notable blemishes beyond expected handling wear.
Receiver finish is mildly worn. Mild patina and light pitting throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light patina. Magazine plate has light finish wear. Trigger guard has light finish wear and mild pitting.
Receiver is P30 stamped, indicating privatization in 1930.
A piece of waxed paper is found inside the magazine at the bottom. No information is on this piece of paper.
