Swiss 1889 Infantry rifle, produced in 1893, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling)l. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are cracked.
On the right side of the stock, the initials "MRF" are found stamped on the butt, near the Swiss ordnance stamp. Light gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are mild gouges around the butt. The initials "MRF" are again found stamped but below the receiver.
All bluing was previously refurbished. Receiver has light pitting. Both barrel bands have light finish wear and light pitting.
No P stamp noted.
