Swiss 1906/29 Luger, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 90% original finish. 5/5 bore. All visible serial numbers matching.
Right side of the frame has mild edge wear at the forward edge. Light edge wear along the upper and lower edges of the high area. Light edge wear on the trigger guard. Very light edge wear on the bottom of the grip. Tooling mark on the grip screw. Left side of the frame has light edge wear at the forward edge, light edge wear on the upper edge, and a few scattered marks in the finish. Side plate has mild finish wear at the high area, a small patch of mild finish wear to the right of the high area, and light edge wear along the upper edge. Frame has light finish wear along the frame above the grip, as well as light edge wear along the upper edge of the frame. Light edge wear around the takedown lever. Light edge wear around the safety selector lever and light to mild edge wear on the safety selector knob. Light edge wear on trigger guard. Minor edge wear on the bottom of the grip. Light pitting on the front strap. Heavy finish wear on the grip safety.
Receiver has light edge wear along the upper edge on both sides.
Red canevasite grips have good checkering and no damage evident. Magazine has non-matching brown bakelite base, likely a replacement after the original canevasite had cracked. There is some gouging on the left side of the magazine base.
Frame is P. 55 stamped on the right side of the frame at the high area, indicating privatization in 1955.
Includes military leather holster with shoulder sling. Holster was made by "K. SALZMAN" of Herdern (canton Thurgau) in 1939.

This model has the standard 1906/29 features such as a new type toggle with flat, uncheckered toggle knobs; grip safety, wide trigger, narrow trigger guard and a straight grip front strap, no stock lug and barrel chambered in 7.65mm Luger.
